Review of "Little Prince" by Aleksandra Rykowska of class 3b

I’d like to recommend „Little Prince”. The book is the most popular of the books written by Antoine de Saint- Exupery.

“Little Prince” is a beautiful story about friendship. The main character is a little boy. He comes from the faraway planet called B-. Little Prince travels to different planets, but he can’t find a friend. He says how he got to the Earth and what kind of characters he met on the another planets. He visited planets, where a drunkard, a king, a banker and a geographer were living. He met them and talked to them. He thinks that adults are strange. On the Earth he found a friend. It is a rose. Little Prince takes care of her. He spends time with her and talks to her.

I think this book is good for everybody. I recommend it.

Review of Harry Potter by Cezary Czarniecki of class 3b

One of my favourite book is ”Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone” written by J.K. Rowling. It is the first volume of the 7 book series about a boy called Harry Potter who is a wizard.

Harry attends to the School of Witchcraft and Wizardy-Hogwart’s. He would have a peaceful and happy life, if the Lord Voldemort wasn’t trying to kill Harry using his perfidious tricks. But whatever he does Harry always finds a way to protect himself. Harry Potter is a great combination of humour, action and music.

All in all, I think this book is for young and old readers. I am sure that most of them will be drawn in by that different dimension, where everything is happen. For me Rowling’s book is a great masterpiece.

Review of "Last Wish" by Wiktor Jagielski of class 3b

Four months ago I read a book ”Last Wish” by Andrzej Sapkowski.

It’s a collection of stories about Geralt from Rivia. He is a witcher- professional killer of monsters like goblins. He is unhappy, because people think, that witchers are mutants. They say, that Geralt and other witchers are more frightening than monsters.

In certain story Geralt was invited to a party in a castle in Cinthra. He helped Headgogy- a knight who at midnight turns into a Headgogy – man.  Main character said, that he want “sanething , that he meet in his house when he come back”. It means his child. It’s the last wish from the title.

In this novel the best story is about a lonely character, who wants to show people he has got feelings and he is a human, too. He’s got some friends like dwarfs, elves; but among humans he’s got two- Jakier the singer and Yennefer the withc. Geralt loves, her but she doesn’t love him.

“Last Wish”  was a very popular book in 90’s in Poland.

Review of Harry Potter by Mateusz Bzura of class 3b

One of my favourite books is „Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s  Stone” written by J. K. Rowling. It is the first volume of the 7-book series, about a boy called Harry Potter, who is a wizard. “Harry Potter” is a great combination of humor, action and of course magic. The book allows us to return to our childhood and what is more to excite our imagination. It introduces us into the fascinating world of magic, where everything is possible. The breathtaking battles between good and evil are balanced by the enchanted creations of the young heroes and heroines and also the astonishing creatures or plants   appearing the create an illusion of mystery.
I think this book is something for both young and old. Everyone can find something that they especially like. I’m sure that most of the readers are fascinated by that different dimension, where everything can happen. For me Rowling’s book  is a great masterpiece.

Review "Pride and Prejudice" by Julia Wojciechowska

Recently I have read a fantastic book “The Pride and the Prejudice” by Jane Austein. I want to recommed this book because it is really interesting . The action happened in XVIII century in England. The main character is Elizabeth Bennet, the one of five Bennet’s daughters. Miss Bennet is a very influential woman. She wants her doughter to marry a rich gentleman. She always cares only about money, not about love. That’s why Lizzy sometimes gets angry  and often argues with her mum. Elizabeth is a full of energy young woman, who is looking for love. She and her sisters always go on balls and they try to find someone interesting .

One day, Elizabeth meets Mr. Darcy – a young and rich gentleman and they hate each other a lot! Everything is more complicated because Elizabeth’s older sister - Jane falls in love with Darcy’s best friend – Mr.Bingley. Mr. Bingley, his sister and mister Darcy move in next to Bennet’s familly’s place. Ms. Bennet is overjoyed! She doesn’t know, that Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy are enemies! I hope you’ll read this book as soon as possible to see what else happens to Elizabeth!

He ran to Geppetto and asked his dad what to do with it. The oldman said: "Make a doll! Maybe one day it will become your son." Pinocchio has worked for seven days and seven nights. He created the wooden and beautiful doll. He was very happy because this doll turned into a boy. Pinocchio named him Robinson. He couldn't even imagine his son will become a traveller one day and he will live the most incredible adventures in the world.
