The adventures of Boukey by Aleksandra Dubois, class 3A

A large number of animals lived in a certain forest. There were a red Fox, a clever Owl, a grey Wolf, an aqile Roe-Deer, a young Deer, a skillfull Squirrel, a prickly Hedgehog and Boukey. Boukey was small but very fast. Her fur was ginger. Her eyes were big so she saw everything even at night. Nothing could distract her from anything. All of animals understood each other very well. They lived like a family.
One day, while Boukey was walking on the forest path, she saw an advertisement. It was pinned to the bark of a spruce. It turned out that it would be organized Talent Show in the forest in a few days. "I'd like to take part in this show but I haven't got a talent for anything" thought Boukey. She was very sad about it. She came back her burrow. She was thinking about her problem all evening until she fell asleep. She dreamt about winning the forest prize for the contest she participated in. Boukey was excited and happy that she woke up.
Boukey lived in the forest near Friendly Town. She thought that a walk to the town could help her to find her hidden talent. She started her trip the next day in the morning. She was walking and thinking.
The first building she saw was Public High School. She liked it very much so she entered the building. Suddenly she noticed a boy. "My name's Ben. And you? he said. She knew human language so she answered "I'm Boukey. I come from the forest"
"Nice to meet you. Why have you came to our school? Do you want to learn how to read?"
"I don't know what is reading but I want to find out" she replied.
Ben started teaching her how to do it. It emerged tah Boukey had a talent for reading very fast. She decided to boast about it Talent Show. Boukey borrowed a book from Ben ane returned home.
A few days later, time for performance came. All animals from the forest gathered to show their abilities. Wolf sang a song, Owl made a lang speech from memory, Squirrel dod gymnastics, Deer and Roe-Deer danced together. There were a lot of other talented animals but Boukey was the best. She read short stories from a book. Animals were really impressed. The audience cheered and clapped. Boukey was proud of herself, because she won.
Boukey decided to go to the school in Friendly Town once again. She hunted down Ben. She asked him to teach her to write. He as ready to give her a hepling hand. It took her two days to know all letters in writing. She felt great anthusiasm for her new talent that she wrote a book. Later, she read it her friends in the forest. Everyone liked it very much.
Boukey succeeded in writing. She published a lot of different books with the help of Ben. Boukey become a famous writer. Her books were translated in many languages in Europe.
