Review of Harry Potter by Julia Wojciechowska of class 3b

Recently I have read a very interesting book called ,,Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”. It was written by an English writer Jonne Kathlean Rawling. In the English version of the book it appeared in 1997, while the Polish translation of  it was published in 1999.
The  story takes place in Hogwart and London. The main character is an orphan and waif, the baby raised by an aunt and uncle, who treat him badly. The origin of the boy is shrouded in mystery, and the only reminder of the past is a scar on his forehead. One day, the title character receives a unique in a mysterious, magical school called Hogwart. New student overcome many difficulties in the new school and trying to find the environment of other students. There he meets two friends with, whom is experiencing exciting adventures. During his study he meets a lot of magical creatures, among others, centaurs and unicorns.
I think “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” is an excellent fantasy novel, for which it is worthwhile to take the time and read it. I would recommend it to all fans of magic, adventures and humour.
