Book review by Michał Pieńczykowski, class 1A

It's a novel for young people, written by Ferenc Molnar “The Paul Street Boys”. The book is set in the late nineteenth century in Budapest.
The author describes in his novel the story of two groups of boys who want to fight for a place to play. The leader of one of the groups is Janosz Boka. His bands include, among others Ernest Nemeczek and Geréb. The second group is the Redskins, the chief Feriego bandwidth. The boys are very serious about the fight for Square, they play more and more like war. This war has its hero. Inconspicuous Nemeczek, treated by colleagues with pity, sacrificed for them, despite battling colds and contributes to the victory over the redskins. Sick Nemeczek dies and his colleagues realized how much he was courageous and noble. Another blow for boys was the news that on the Square, for which they fought, will big house.
The fate of the boys in this book for a long time remain in memory.
