Review of the book “Chronicles
of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” by Julia Zielińska, class 1B
“Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” is a
fantasy novel. Its author is C.S. Lewis. The book is very popular. It’s a first
part of “Chronicles of Narnia”. Whole action is carried in England during war.
Main characters- Łucja, Piotr, Edmund and Zuzanna- all that time are in their
uncle’s house. They are bored. In the cousse of play, Łucja is looking into the
old wardrobe. From there she is going to amazing world- Narnia. Over there is a
lot of snow. In Narnia live some magic animals, for example centaurs. Soon all
siblings become convinced about being Narnia. There the time is lagging, but in
real elapse barely one minute. The young are experiencing there some amazing
adventures- they are fighting with dangerous animal, finding secrets,
practicing magic. According to living there people, young are chosen one, which
have defeat a Witch and reinstate calm, harmony, variable seasons to Narnia.
And it happening. During travel and fight, they are meeting Aslan- a lion,
which is the king of Narnia. After the win battle between good and evil, main
characters are becoming to kings of Narnia and they are coming back to real
world.
I really like this novel, because all in it are magic and fantasy. I
shall be happy to read the next parts of saga and I watch a lot of films about
these books.
