Boukey's adventures by Julia Obrycka, class 1A
Boukey applied for a job as a worker on the farm. When
the farmer asked him about the qualifications, he replied, "I can sleep
when the wind blows." Farmer was surprised because he had not expected
such a response. However, he gave him a job. Eight days later, the farmer and
his wife were awakened by a violent storm. Quickly they started to check
everything on the farm to make sure that everything is safe. They found that
all the doors and shutters are closed. A large amount of wood for kindling was
prepared immediately by the fireplace. Boukey loud snoring. Farmer and his wife
still checking if nothing had destroyed their farm. They noted that all the
machinery and tools were placed in the shed. The tractor is in a garage.
Everything should be closed closed. Even the animals were calm. Everything was
in order. Farmer suddenly understood what Boukey meant by saying that "He
can sleep when the wind blows."
